Our unique Our unique brake system controls the recoil speed preventing the screen from slamming if accidentally released. The brake can be installed as original equipment or retro-fitted in the field to any Genius Retractable Screen.

The brake is concealed inside the screen housing so the appearance of the screen is no different than a screen without the brake system. The brake is available for window or door applications.

Anti-Wind Brushpile

For those applications where windy conditions could turn retractable screen doors into sails, Genius Retractable Screens has developed a high-tech solution for high wind situations.

Our anti-wind pile utilized different length of brush for each side, leaving a small central gap for the screen to pass freely without friction without compromising the seal. Easy use, great appearance, keeps bugs out...even in windy conditions.
